Yoga for the Special Child®, LLC  Program

This multi-level program is taught by Sonia Sumar. Designed for parents and their children, Yoga teachers, educators and health care professionals, it provides the basic tools for teaching Yoga to children with special needs. Using hands-on and video instruction, Ms. Sumar guides participants through each of the successive stages in the special child's development - from infancy through adolescence. Topics include: choosing the most effective Yoga routine; creating the optimum home and classroom environment; and working with different syndromes and disorders.

Yoga for the Special Child®, LLC Basic and Advanced Programs

Terms and Conditions:

To confirm your reservation, please make full payment or a minimum deposit of $250. Payment in full must be received 30 days prior to program start date. Checks and money orders should be made payable to Yoga for the Special Child®, LLC, when the program is held in Florida. Otherwise, please contact sponsor for more info. Mail your payment and application to us at the above address (or sponsor if applicable). If you have a credit card and wish to confirm your reservation by phone, please call 1-888-900-YOGA.

All payments made are non-refundable, unless the program is canceled by Yoga For The Special Child®, LLC (YSC), in which event you will receive a full refund. However YSC shall not be responsible for refunding airline tickets or hotels under any circumstances.

If registrant cancels 10 or more days before the program start date, by way of YSC receiving notice from registrant within that time, the sum of $50 shall be deducted by YSC as an expense of administration. Any balance paid in excess of $50 shall be held for registrant without interest, and may be applied by registrant to another program within one year of cancellation. If not applied within one year, all monies paid shall be forfeited.

If registrant cancels less than 10 days before the program start date, the sum of $250 shall be deducted by YSC as an expense of administration. Any balance paid in excess of $250 shall be held by YSC without interest, and may be applied by registrant to another program within one year of cancellation. If not applied within one year, all monies paid shall be forfeited.

Parents who wish to have Sonia Sumar or other of her teachers work with their child may bring their child at no charge (there will, however, be a $550 charge for children who attend the Buckingham Program -- to cover the cost of childcare and overnight accomodations).

Persons attending these programs will need to arrange their own overnight accommodations and childcare (with the exception of the Basic Certification Program in Buckingham, Virginia). Childcare is not available for the Brazil Programs.

Payments for programs outside of the US can be made by Money Order in American Dollars or by paypal.
