AND THEIR APPLICATION ON LIFE A brand new Continuing Education program developed by Sonia Sumar to help you deepen your understanding of the five keys and how to apply them in everyday life.

Who should attend: This course is open to Yoga therapists, instructors and students, health care practitioners, and families of children with Special Needs who have completed our Yoga for the Special Child 95H Certification Program Part 1. It is important to understand the medical contraindications to certain asanas and breathing techniques, so please do not try to copy our work without proper instruction

The program includes

It is important to understand the medical contraindications to certain asanas and breathing techniques, so please do not try to copy our work without proper instruction. The course is a very intensive and dynamic 3 days of training which will include not only in-depth study of the different way one can apply the method to children with special needs but also further deepening of the participant's own yoga practice. The training will include 2hrs and 30min of yoga sadhana (practice) in the morning followed by lectures and discussions, further study of the Keys of Yoga for the Special Child and their application in life. Sonia will share with the group further techniques and tools that can be used and applied in the different cases. Every day will conclude with a deep relaxation or meditation session, so the participants can better absorb the newly learned skills and gained knowledge.
