A brand new Continuing Education program developed by our senior licensed practitioner, Cheryl Albright, in collaboration with Sonia Sumar and Renata Sumar Gaertner to discuss the research behind Yoga for All Abilities - The Sonia Sumar Method.

Who should attend: This course is open to Yoga therapists, instructors and students, health care practitioners, and families of children with additional Needs. It is important to understand the medical contraindications to certain asanas and breathing techniques, so please do not try to copy our work without proper instruction.

The program includes

The course is a very intensive and dynamic 3 days of training where we will explain how the method is integrated in the medical model, case studies, and research in regards to sensory processing, trauma, and limited verbal language. Will have a practice 2 of the days. Every day will conclude with a deep relaxation or meditation session so the participants can better absorb the newly learned skills and gained knowledge.
