Join Renata MahaJyoti for these special Saturday morning classes. We'll flow with many variations on Surya Namaskar, working the whole body through a balanced practice. We will challenge your focus and attention within, making sure you are always guided by your breath. Start your weekend off right!

About the event
Each month we will focus on one part of the class and go deep into it.Â
May Class - putting it all together ... a special class combining everything we have been learning on the last 4 months. We will work on open hip positions, balance poses and also inversions and positions that requires "arm strenght". This is a complete Hatha Yoga Class and will have all components (chanting, eye exercises, breathing and relaxation) besides asanas. Class is for students who have a regular practice and yoga teachers.Â

January Class - hatha flow... we will flow through Sun Salutations with variations. Â Class will also cover seated and lying down positions, will focus on developing our awareness of forward and backward bendings, and also work on twists and lateral bending. This is a complete Hatha Class following the Sonia Sumar Method, so we will also have chanting, eye exercises, deep relaxation and breathing.Â
February Class - how about those hips... In February we will work on poses that will help us feel the connection between our hips and pelvic floor. We will also work on poses that require hip open position with options for different flexibilities, so we can safely develop the awareness on how to join strength and flexibility in these yoga poses. It will be a balanced yoga routine, although with the focus on hips and pelvic floor. This is a complete Hatha Class following the Sonia Sumar Method, so we will also have chanting, eye exercises, deep relaxation and breathing.Â
March Class - all about inversions... In this class, we will do a more simplified introductory routine, to make sure we work our spine in all directions, as well our body in all positions, but we will spend a little more time exploring inversions and variations. Â This is a complete Hatha Class following the Sonia Sumar Method, so we will also have chanting, eye exercises, deep relaxation and breathing.Â
April Class - more about hips... In April  we will revisit some of he  poses that will help us feel the connection between our hips and pelvic floor that we worked with in February, plus we will work on poses requested by participants, so each person can receive a personal feedback on how to improve on the asana he/she chooses. This is a complete Hatha Class following the Sonia Sumar Method, so we will also have chanting, eye exercises, deep relaxation and breathing.
